Downtown Buffet

Please could somebody recommend a decent but not too expensive buffet downtown, planning on going down early evening and eating, then spend some relaxing time at the Freemont St Experience, thank you.

Downtown Buffet

I spent 3 nights D/T over Memorial Day. My only buffet was the Champagne Brunch @ Main Street Station. I was VERY impressed at how pretty the room was and the size, which allowed for easy seating and service. Everything (including great champagne service) was good @ Brunch. I%26#39;m guessing (sorry) that translates to good dinner choices and service as well. I think there are 2 for 1 coupons around. I you have an ACG Fremont Exp. coupon, take it to the exchange booth outside the Golden Nugget. A 2 for 1, issued by the MSS players%26#39; club is included. Hmm! That sounds like a hassle, but really isn%26#39;t, D/T is a very tight knit group of casinos.

Also, check out the Fremont Experience schedule for the day you go. Make sure you see the ';Queen Tribute';. Best show ever on the ';canopy';.

Downtown Buffet

I have not tried it personally, but from everything that I have read on this forum over the years, Main Street Station is generally agreed to have the best dinner buffet downtown. For more info go here:

The MSS or Fremont buffet are your best bets for downtown buffets.

Main Street Station gets the vote, thanks guys.

MSS is our favorite followed by the nugget

I%26#39;ve eaten at the MSS %26amp; Fremont buffets. Both good. Steer clear of the Fitz %26amp; Plaza buffets regardless of how cheap they are.

Main Street Station is the best downtown general purpose buffet. However, Fremont is the best downtown seafood buffet and I am partial to seafood. MSS also has a nice bar.

Main St is very good.

Main St. Hands down! It%26#39;s even better than most buffets on the Strip!
