Bally Lovers Help me out! 2

Hello again!

I posted a question earlier about the rooms at Bally%26#39;s. Now I have few more questions. I was so torn between MGM and Bally%26#39;s for my next trip. I just got back from MGM and the pool was the bomb! For August, my friend and I opted to choose Bally%26#39;s because we got an awesome deal on a package.

Anyway, How is the Bally%26#39;s pool? Should we go to the Flamingo since they are open to the general public after 2? I heard the Flamingo pool is very crowded. We will be there August 27th thru the 30th.

And, is it just me, or is the gambling better at MGM casinos than Harrah%26#39;s casinos? I always seem to do bad at Harrah%26#39;s casinos. I play $1, quarter, and penny slots.

Hmmm. . . I still have my keys from the MGM. Think they%26#39;ll let me into the pool. . hee hee. Naw! I just couldn%26#39;t do it. It would bring bad Karma. And, I need good Karma for gambling.

If your only Las Vegas experiance was at MGM you are going to be very disappointed with the pool at Bally%26#39;s. It is basically just a hole in the cement, although it does have a deep end (8ft I believe). Flamingo%26#39;s is much closer to what you exeprianced at MGM.

Sorry, I can%26#39;t help with the slot machines. But for table games and VP the gambling conditions are better at MGM casinos than Harrahs.

Did I expose my age? Can you tell I%26#39;m a child of the 80s.

I have been to Vegas many many times. It was my first trip to MGM.

Ballys pool is pretty ordinary. Here is a link that may help. It is a 360 video of the pool.

Also if you watch the movie Honeymoon in Vegas with Nick Cage and Sarah Jessica Parker, the pool in that movie and the hotel is Ballys. However, my room that I stayed in was not the same one in the movie.

If you%26#39;d like a pool that is quieter and less crowded, Bally%26#39;s is just that. However, it is very simple as others said. The pool itself is sad looking, there%26#39;s a deep end and you%26#39;d definately want to know how to swim- (I think it was like 10ft deep) some people were doing laps on that end when I stayed there. Hot tubs for me are far more important than the pool itself, and let me just say the one at Bally%26#39;s was very disappointing. It was just a round hole with lukewarm water with wimpy jets.

I would suggest you to use the Flamingo one, if you don%26#39;t mind the walk. The one at Bally%26#39;s is located on the back of the property, close to the monorail and the tennis court, and it does require you to walk through the shops to get there anyways.

I just discovered that I can use the pool at Paris, since the two are connected. I looked at both pools on line. Paris looks nicer. I%26#39;ll just float around and pretend I%26#39;m on the lazy river at MGM. Maybe my friend can swin around really fast to create a whirlpool effect.
