MGM rates - what's the deal?

Rates keep dropping each time I call the hotel direct-woo hoo!!!

The rates on their website don%26#39;t keep up with their live operators. It%26#39;s higher on the website.

I called and asked if the rates went down, the nice lady said yes, by $10. total- OK i%26#39;ll take that.

Then I called 10 minutes later, asked the same question, and got another $30. off my total bill.

Is this unusual, or do you regulars know about this?

That is great. I called to get my rates lowered there becuase I saw they dropped on the website. The operator asked me for the promotional code and lowered the rates.

However, I have noticed that the rate has gone up for the Saturday portion of our stay, while the other days go down.

Call back- my Saturday rate was the one that dropped $30. on the 2nd phone call.

Which dates are you booking for? I%26#39;m booking for dates only 3 weeks away so I%26#39;m wondering if this trick could save me more money.

June 21 for 3 nites. I originally booked 2 months ago at around $500. total.

Now it%26#39;s $334. total. It%26#39;s slowly gone down about 5-6 times. I%26#39;ve been calling them ck.ing the price since I booked it. Some of the times it%26#39;s only dropped $7-8 dollars, but it adds up.

It can%26#39;t hurt to call-give it a try.

I think it was the same for Saturday night, but $49 for Sunday and $69 for Monday. I found the code on another website. It is supposed to include 15% off at the spa and 2 for 1 spa entrance and maybe $25 toward the shows? I was just excited for the low rate.
