Tour through Nationalparks from Las Vegas, L.A. or San Fran

Hi, I%26#39;m looking for a good tour through Zion, Bryce and Arches NP. I found several tours online but I%26#39;m not sure which one is worth it. Some of the tours offer a lot to see in only a very short time. I don%26#39;t want to go on a tour where you just get off the bus, take your pictures and leave. I%26#39;d like to spend at least a couple of hours in a park. Do you have any recommendation?

How about gotobus?

I%26#39;ve spent one day at Zion so I%26#39;m probably not the best qualified to answer this but my opinion is that if you want to see these national parks and do them justice (which is what appears to be the case) then you really need to rent a car and do it all at your own pace.

Arches is in south east Utah, a considerable distance away from Bryce and Zion.

You may also want to ask about these destinations on the Utah forum.

Hi

We tour around the west every year for our holidays now (7 times so far). The best way in our opinion is to have your own car, cheaper and you have the freedom to stay/move on when you want.

Each of the parks you mention deserve at least one full day to appreciate. The other posters are correct. Rent a car and stay inside the parks (not possible at Arches unless camping) or as close as possible.

Very near Arches is Canyonlands NP, worth at least a half-day visit when you%26#39;re in the area. It%26#39;s easy to draw up a loop itinerary from Las Vegas for those parks plus Monument Valley and Grand Canyon South Rim. You would need 9-10 days minimum to do it properly.
