British F1 Grand Prix July 6th - where can we watch it?????

We%26#39;re in Vegas 1st - 8th July and are avid F1 Fans.

Does anyone know of any bars, clubs, lounges that would be showing the Grand Prix?

I know if we watch it live it%26#39;ll be 5-6 am - but we%26#39;d be quite happy for that.

Or if there%26#39;s anywhere in Vegas that will show the whole race but at a more reasonable local time?

You should be able to catch this in most casino bars. I know I%26#39;ve definitely seen Formula 1 action on TVs as I%26#39;ve been ending a very late night at the tables!

At that time of the morning, the bartender will gladly switch channels for you. I think F1 is shown on Fox Sports but check the listings once you%26#39;re in Vegas. It may be a little harder to get to see a taped screening of the race later in the day as you may be outvoted by baseball (and if there%26#39;s a race that day NASCAR) fans regarding what channels the TVs are showing..... :-)

F1 tv rights in the States belong to Speed TV. Call your hotel, they may have it in your room. Blagger is correct about later viewing. Nascar dominates here. Go Kimi!!!

If it%26#39;s on Speed channel, you may have better luck at a sports bar in a casino. If it%26#39;s on FOX you can sit at any bar and they should be able to find it. I%26#39;ll check and see what channel it%26#39;s suppose to show on. You may even be able to get practice and quali on Friday and Sat.

Come to think of it, you can probably just stay in your room and watch the race.

Fox is a station that is usually included in your local channels in your hotel room.

I doubt that you will find many people downstairs watching the race at that hour.

My guess is if the race is on SPEED, it will be shown live at 5:00AM Vegas time...if it%26#39;s on FOX, it will be presented tape delayed later in the day...my favorite sports books to watch anything is Caesar%26#39;s, MGM, and yes, the Riviera!

We watched the Grand Prix from the Hofbrauhaus a year or two ago - I think it was the Japanese one, but I can%26#39;t be sure. They had it on the TV in the %26#39;beer garden%26#39; (indoors!) and there were quite a few people there.

It turned into a great afternoon - good food, great beer and some really fun people.

If you%26#39;re interested in watching Hamilton drive, it might be easier to go down to the strip and watch for someone to rear end another car at a red light.

Sorry, but Hamilton%26#39;s mistakes just make it too easy. If it is on Fox, don%26#39;t expect any pre-race coverage. Fox insists on doing a few races a year and then put zero effort into it.
