From the posts I%26#39;ve found, it seems like a long drive (7/8/9 hours). It might be too much for my girls (2 and 4). Where would you recommend staying to break up the trip?
Vegas to Tahoe
If you choose to break up the trip and traveling on I-95 north, Tonopah probably be your logical point for staying since it is about half way to Lake Tahoe and is fairly decent size town.
Vegas to Tahoe
I did this trip in reverse a couple of months ago. I stayed overnight in Tonopah. Not a great deal there for kids but there%26#39;s a few places to stay and eat and it%26#39;s as good as you%26#39;re going to get on the long drive.
