Wedding Chapel Ideas...

My fiance and I are getting married in Vegas in March and we had already booked a chapel but had to cancel it to get the reception site we wanted bc the chapel is closed on Sundays. We had booked Little Chapel of the Flowers and I loved it. Does anyone know anything comparable? I want something pretty and minus the Vegas cheesiness. And we have about 50 people coming. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks.

My friend got married in the Little Church of the West this past March and it didn%26#39;t have the Vegas cheesiness. It was pretty - wooden chapel, historic, seating for 50. It%26#39;s at the end of the strip (near Mandalay) so it%26#39;s not in between a porn shop and a liquor store either - kind of stands alone.

There%26#39;s a really cute gazebo for taking pictures. Also, guests are allowed to take pictures, whereas some of the chapels don%26#39;t allow it so you%26#39;ll buy the ones they take.

I also got married at the church of the west and it was lovely - I think wherever you go you may feel rushed as there is always somebody behind you waitin their turn, but I did actually pay for a bit of extra time here and it made us feel like we did have time to take pictures etc. Make sure you check everything on the morning though - I called to check what time my limo was coming and it hadn%26#39;t been booked - all sorted out very quickly with no fuss. It will be a crush with 50 people - I only had 35 and it was pretty full but thoroughly recommend it.

I think we are going to book the chapel at Treasure Island... Its right next door to our reception at Maggiano%26#39;s. A little part of me cringes at actually putting the words Treasure Island on our invitations but the pictures look really nice and our package includes anight in a suite. :)

Oh... we are getting married on March 15th... :) 272 days to go!!! I can%26#39;t wait!!!!:)

We got married in the Treasure Island chapel 7 years ago %26amp; it was gorgeous!! When people see our pictures, they always say ';it looks like a real wedding!'; LOL!! It was just the 2 of us, but the employees were great; 1 helped me get into my gown %26amp; another was our witness. They had a huge bouquet for me %26amp; it matched the flowers in the chapel so everything looked perfect!
