a show at the Colosseum....spec the Bette Midler Show......can you wear capris with a nice top....or do they dress up more than that......have never been to a show out there before.....actually havent been to Vegas since 1986 so Im in for a treat I hope! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. TG
What to wear to
There%26#39;s no dress code for Vegas shows. Where whatever you feel comfortable in and you%26#39;ll be absolutely fine. You%26#39;ll see a huge cross section of attire from tuxedos to those who look as though they%26#39;ve come straight from the pool. Whatever you wear you can safely say that others will be a lot more dressed up than you and others a lot less but also that nobody will really care!
The outfit you describe will be totally appropriate but be aware that quite often the air conditioning is turned up high in theaters and it can get a little cool. I%26#39;ll be at Bette myself in just over three weeks..... :-)
As it%26#39;s been so long since you%26#39;ve been to Vegas a trip report would be really interesting if you could find the time to post one. Have a great trip!!!!!

';Where whatever you feel comfortable in';
Should have been
';Wear whatever you feel comfortable in';
D%26#39;oh!!
Capris with a nice top will be just fine..As the previous poster stated, you will see all different types of dress...I%26#39;m leaving tomorrow and I know I have cut way back on my packing..I am ';planning'; on just bringing a carryon..of course I%26#39;m counting on hubby having some room left in his carryon so I can sneak some more of my things in his bag. I think that more and more people are going to travel lighter with all these darn restrictions that the airlines are placing upon passengers..I know I, for one am going to pack smarter and lighter than I have in the past.
As previously mentioned, it can be a bit chilly inside with the A/C. I haven%26#39;t been to a show (!), but just spoke w/someone who just returned and said she was miserable because she was freezing the whole time - so if you%26#39;re one who has a tendency to be on the cold side, bring a little something to cover up with.
Your outfit will be fine. You will see anything from shorts/tees right up to formalwear . Some people like to dress up at night while others don%26#39;t bother.
1986? Wow, are you in for a nice suprise!
As the others have said your outfit will be fine, but be sure to bring a sweater or some other kind of cover up because you WILL be COLD in the theatre.
