US price for Nintendo DS

Hi

How much does a Nintendo DS cost in the US? we%26#39;re off to vegas in 2 weeks and I said I%26#39;d find out if it is cheaper to get a DS there or in the UK for my nephew

They are about 拢100 so approx $200 in the uk, I%26#39;ve looked on Amazon and they are $130 but can you buy them in the shops for that price?

I%26#39;ve had a look and both of those stores are in vegas, we%26#39;ll have a hire car so we can go to them

If you%26#39;ll have a car make sure to check out the Fry%26#39;s electronics as well. Assuming you are talking about the Nintendo DS Lite, you can check their websites to see who has the lowest price that week. One question: I know the system comes with a charger, would that work in England?

I%26#39;m no expert on this but be aware that games purchased in the UK may not necessarily be compatable to use on US equipment. You should definitely check this out before buying.

Your nephew may end up having to buy US games online and have them shipped over and this may work out more expensive in the long run.

blagger is correct, find out if the games bought in the UK are compatible with the US game system. DVD%26#39;s bought in the UK do not work in US DVD players and vice versa. However, most newer laptops can play most DVD%26#39;s so could be it would be like that. You will also need a plug adaptor and possibly a small power adaptor. Look on the product for the power requirements....if it says 110-220 or 240 then all you need is the small plug in adaptor for the power outlet on the wall.

I just bought 2 of the Nintendo DS Lites in the US. They should be the exact same prce everywhere. I was in Fry%26#39;s (awesome store, better than the rest in the US), Target and Walmart, same price in all of them. $129.99 plus whatever the sales tax is in the state where you make the purchase. They systems come in a variety of colours as well........white, black, blue, red, peach/pink.

The games for the systems cost anywhere from $19.99-拢39.99

I am pretty sure that the DS is region free so uk games will be fine but i%26#39;ll get my husband to check as he%26#39;s the computer expert ~ i%26#39;m just the shopper!!

so it looks like frys is the best place to go so i%26#39;ll have a look on google to find the easiest store to go to ~ we%26#39;re staying at caesars

Bluesky, to the best of my knowledge there%26#39;s only one Fry%26#39;s in the Greater LV area. It%26#39;s on Las Vegas Blvd by the intersection with I-215, a little more than a mile or south of Mandalay Bay.

There is a store in the fashion mall that does these plus all the games I get mine there and price seem sok, sorry I dont rem name but if you look up fashionmall.com it might list the store name.

Unless you buy a used one. I think your looking at US$129.00 as that is what we sell them for where I work. And the only way we can put them on sale is if Nintendo says we can. I think it is that way everywhere...But I could be wrong.
