just got back from an amazing week.
Wanted to write a few words about the Imperial Palace and Grand Adventures as there have been some negative comments.
Arrived at IP and asked if there was any chance of a complimentary upgrade (didn%26#39;t do the $20 trick just asked politely) - the lady replied upgrades are available but over look carnival court and are noisy - we decided to stay as we were. Our room was spacious, clean and had a balcony. It was perfectly adequate for us however the room decor and bathroom could do with updating.
The IP is in a fantastic location on centre strip - we were able to walk up to the Wynn and down to NYNY quite easily.
It is a good value hotel and we had no problems there.
Regarding Grand Adventures, we went on their Sunset tour to the grand canyon. This was awesome. We went to the Hoover Dam for about 20 mins which was adequate for photos, then we stopped on the historic route 66 before arriving at the canyon. We were there around 31/2 - 4 hours. Our lunch was lovely and our guide was excellent - he didn%26#39;t rush us and answered all our questions. The trip was a trip of a lifetime for us and excellent value for money. I would highly recommend using these.
We also did a trip to the gun store. My husband loved this! I tried a machine gun which was good!
