I know that golf should probably not be my top priority while in Vegas but I%26#39;ve been to Vegas several times and have never played golf. My next trip is Aug 25 thru the 28th. I would like to play a high quality course and have a budget of no more than $200. Any suggestions? What would be my best option for this price range? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Ace, common question. Here are the answers from one who has played all the courses many times. How many rounds will you play? If only one, you%26#39;re better off renting clubs convenience wise, but add $50-80. You should plan on renting a car to get to any worthwhile courses. You could cab to Bali Hi but it is not worth the money, even summer rates. First choice, an hour or so away, is Wolf Creek in Mesquite. Rates should be around $100. Paiute Wolf or Snow Mountain at around $100, Either Primm course or, my favorite, Reflection Bay, probably more like $125-150. PM me and I%26#39;ll answer any other questions.
Thanks for all of the help guys. I am still contemplating renting clubs but really like the comfort level I have with my own set. I have heard a lot of good things about Reflection Bay. Do you know if they carry Titleist clubs for rent?
Ace, I love Reflection Bay. Great Jack track. I%26#39;ve played it many, many times. They have Ping G-10%26#39;s at $65. I too much prefer my own sticks, especially wedges and putter, but that%26#39;s why I drive. Hate checking them, especially with the new weight fares. I have G-10 driver and 15* and they are nice though.
I agree, the main cause for concern with clubs is my 52 degree wedge and my putter but I can%26#39;t do without my Ping Rapture driver. I am pretty sure I can find irons I can adjust to. I could take oversize luggage and somehow stow the putter and wedge in there but am worried about potential damage with not taking the club case.
Right now you can get a really good deal at Wolf Creek with an additional 18 at Falcon Ridge the same day for only 99 bucks. This special runs June 23rd through August 31. We are planning on playing both when we are out there in July. I am buying a good travel case for my clubs and carrying all my stuff in a carry on. No second bag fee for me. I played Paiute Wolf last year it was fantastic about 30 mins from the strip.
