Going to Bellagio for first time in July. Any advise or comments on this hotel.
BellagioThe rooms were ALL renovated in early 2004. They are all the same.
If you think a view of the fountains is worth $40 extra a night you can get a room facing them.
The line for the buffet can be long so if you go at off hours that might be good.
Have a good trip.
BellagioGreat hotel, you will love it :)
Definitely give the $20 trick a go, it worked for me. Can%26#39;t hurt
Just enjoy, one of the best located hotels on the strip.
I%26#39;ll give my TR and review upon my return later this month.
Thank you all for your comments.
Cheers
We love it there and are checking in on this Thursday the 19th. Will post here if anything has changed for the better or worse...
First of all, when you check in ask if you might have some line passes for the Cafe Bellagio (24 hr cafe) and the buffet if you think you might want to eat at either or both. If they say they can%26#39;t do that at check in, then go to the Players Club in the casino and ask there if you might please have some. I notice you said you are going for the first time, not sure if you mean Vegas, Bellagio or both. If you do not already have an MGM Mirage Players Card, then go to the Players Club and sign up to get one and then ask about line passes. The lines for the buffet and the Cafe can be quite long at times.
On the lower lever of the main building there are two places for food, across from each other. One is a gelato shop and one is a sandwich shop. You can get a travel coffee mug that is about $6.00 but all refills are free for coffee, tea and sodas. Not just refills that day but forever.
Its a big hotel, and there can be a long walk from elevator to your room.
If age age or mobility are a concern then ask for a room near the elevator.
Downside is room near elevators can be a bit noiser than the rest.
If you play B/J and want a low limit table there is one $5 24/7 table to your right as you enter the casino from the lobby.
Thanks again for all the great information.
Cheers
That%26#39;s a really good deal for the travel mug. I%26#39;m going to check this out next week as we%26#39;re staying at the Bellagio for 6 days. Are they open 24 hrs?
