MGM tower room U$D99,00 + benefits - good deal?

I just booked 2 nights in september @ MGM - tower room.

I麓ll stay 6 nights at the RedRock casino and them move to a Strip Hotel in order to enjoy the pool, eat and relax befora my late flight that will leas LAS @ 22:55 p.m.

The extras are:

$25 dining credit

VIP line pass do GrandBuffet and Studio Cafe

2 free inner tube rentals

2 comp pool cocktails

$30 upgrade to bungalow

$50 upgrade to celeb or hollywood suite

I did lots of searching before booking, tryed expedia, hotwire, all hotes sites, etc, and that was by far the best deal I found for a south strip ';bigbrand'; casino. All sorrounding casinos have higher rates and no similar benefits for that period.

Do you guys thing it麓s a good deal?

Is it woth paying the extra for upgrading?

Very nice deal. $99/night in a Grand Tower room is well worth it. For two nights, Id just stay in the Tower and not do the upgrade, you wont be in the room enough. Well, if you will be, then Id go for it. But personally, the Grand Tower rooms are big and comfy enough for me.

I guess it depends on dates because i get cheaper price (very marginal tho) with the players club deal.

This is a good deal, though you may be able to get a better one in another month or two. An MGM Grand Tower room can go for as little as $59-69 on a weekday after Labor Day, and upgrades can go for $20-$30 per night. But unless it%26#39;s nonrefundable, you can always book the deal you have now and switch later if something better comes along.

The MGM tower rooms were nicer than I thought they

would be. The pool area is great so you will

enjoy it there. No need to upgrade.

I would forget about their buffet and head on over

to Mandalay Bay for their%26#39;s - if you are interested in that sort of thing.

We ate late late wee early morning at the Studio

cafe. Forget about getting breakfast. ICK.

The hash browns were dripping in oily grease.

Get a burger or something else..just not breakfast.

Yes, book it and then keep checking. We booked on the ';ultimate escape'; code Thurs-Sun for next week. The rates have been going up and down for the last few weeks but we are set at 49/109/129/49 which is a great deal, especially for the weekend.
